SWEET TEETH
This year, I wanted to give the gift of lightness and brightness in my cookie box.
While I really love all of the luxurious, rich flavors that come with this time of year, I wanted something really punchy and fun to be a palate cleanser in the box. Plus, the 4pm sunsets have really been kicking my ass, so it’s nice to give everyone a little bit of sunshine, even if it’s in the form of a cookie.
This one starts with a blend of lemon zest, ginger, and turmeric, which gives the cookie its vibrant flavor and color. I dip them in a little glaze of Suze—love her work in the white Negroni—but you could totally use lemon juice if you don’t want to do that.
Obviously, I finish them off with a bit of golden sanding sugar for a little glitz and glam!
See you tomorrow with the final… well, it’s not a cookie, but it’ll be great in the box!
